Hey guys, here are the rules of conduct for the forums.
1: No excessive profanity. I don't mind if you throw out a swear or two when it's appropriately placed, but I don't want any explosions of pointless cussing. Try to keep it clean.
2: No insults. If you are arguing with another character in the story, that's one thing, but there is not to be any fighting between members that doesn't pertain to the plotlines. If you have a disagreement, handle it through private messages or some other method. We don't want flaming on here.
3: Respect the privacy of other members. Some people don't mind sharing their real life name and details online, but others do, and you have to respect that. If someone isn't comfortable telling you where they live, then that's their choice, and it isn't necessary to participate on here. Please be respectful of everyone's boundaries.
4: No graphic sexual content. In the romance stories, including that so-and-so slept with so-and-so is acceptable, but there is to be no description of the events, and it is to be left at that. There will be no pornographic content in these posts, or else they will be removed.
5: Communicate with people. If you have a problem with what someone posted, then send them a PM and discuss it like civilized people. If no agreement is reached, you can contact a moderator and have it sorted out fairly. We don't want fights going on, so if there is an issue, do your best to handle it maturely.
If any of these rules are violated, there will be sufficient punishments involved. The first time a rule is broken, the offender will receive a warning. One warning. After that, you're account will be deleted and you will no longer be welcome on the forum.
Finally, respect your fellow writers. It is often very difficult to find other creative writers to relate to, and we want this to be a safe haven free of persecution and spite. Please be kind, and have fun.
